My can't live without makeup products!!

I have a lot of makeup.  A LOT. I also have a small amount of go to (can't leave without--panic attack if I run out of it) products.  There is a reason why I can't live without them. They're just THAT great!

Too Faced Hangover Rx Primer $32 - Silicone free. Packed with Coconut water for hydration as well as probiotics and electrolytes. I was never a believer in primers until this baby. It gives such a flawless, hydrated, and long lasting look with any of the foundations that I've used. I SWEAR by this primer.

Benefit Cosmetics Hoola $15-29 - I may have been wearing this bronzer since high school. I always seem to go back to it. No glitter or shimmer so it looks natural (matte finish). The box includes a mirror and little sculpting brush.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper (black) $19 - A liquid eyeliner with an innovative brush tip for effortless, precise application. Stays put. Does not budge!!! This is fantastic for someone who is not a pro at eyeliner and needs an easy flexible glide. Thetrooper color is intense and makes eyes pop!

Benefit Pore-fessional face primer $31 -  I did say that I swear by the Hangover primer but I do SWEAR by this primer for a different reason. Fine lines and pores! I tend to apply this on top of my makeup but it can be worn either way or without makeup. It is amazing in hiding the appearance of fine lines and pores. I usually wear it under my eyes (which is my biggest problem) and near and on my nose and I make sure to gently pat it on.  Sephora always has samples of it- it's a must try!

Anastasia of Beverly Hills Brow Wiz $ 21 - I honestly cannot live without this brow pencil. This is my go to every single day. I've tried other pencils, gels, powders.. you name it. When it comes to my brows whether I'm on the go or day to day this is what I reach for. What do I like about it? the tiny brush on the end to brush out harsh lines and the thin pencil to really get a nice definition. #browsonfleek!

Cover FX pressed powder (Talc free) $36 - I like to use this for touching up my makeup or a just some powder day. This powder is buildable with a matte coverage. The powder also has absorbing microspheres which add moisturizing benefits so the finish is never cakey or drying to the skin.

Sun Bum chapstick SPF 30 coconut scented $3.99 - You must protect your lips as well! this chapstick has an amazing flavor and is so hydrating. SPF 30 UVA/UVB( Aging rays and burning rays) while hydrating and protecting with aloe vera and vitamin E! This also comes in pomegranate and banana (I want them all)

Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara $ 23 - Pretty simple and to the point with this product. I use both the original and waterproof and I love the results from both. Long, dark, and thick eyelashes that never shed or end up under my eyes. I always recommend cleaning the tip a bit before applying the wand on your lashes. Also, if you want super big volumized lashes make sure to do a second or third application and waiting 15 seconds in between each application.

Becca Cosmetics Champagne Pop highlighter $38 - Do I really have to say anything about the Jaclyn hill Champagne Pop highlighter?! This color scream golden goddess with it's shimmering soft white gold and peachy pink undertones. It fits just about every skin color (and if not, Becca has other shades to choose from!)

NYX Cosmetics Nude lip liner $ 4.50 - I wear this lip liner on the regular. Sometimes I may throw a gloss or lipstick over it but I usually wear it on it's own. All of their retractible lip liners are packed with pigment.

Sephora Haul, Sparkle and Shine Darling, and South Beach!!!!

I decided to go on a weekend getaway to Miami Beach, FL. I was hungry for good food, palm trees, sunshine, and the ocean breeze. While in Florida I decided to go on a Sephora haul. I discovered the most AMAZING store by the name Sparkle And Shine Darling while strolling around. From Chandeliers, to glitter, free cookies and cupcakes--I found myself in heaven! Check out my Sephora and SSD haul!!!

Tarte Sea Foundation with spf 15 $39: Medium-full coverage foundation. This is perfect for someone who is between combo/normal to dry skin. The foundation helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while giving the skin a smooth and healthy finish. Major ingredients include a blend of algae and marine flower extracts. This foundation may not be a good fit for someone with oily skin since the ingredients do contains coconut oil and talc (good alternative would be Nars illuminating foundation oil-free).

* I never recommend just a foundation spf on it's on- Make sure to still use your favorite sunscreen that's at least 30+

Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder $15-65: All in one cleanser, exfoliator, and toner in one. It's gentle and and rice enzyme powder is so fine that it'll get just the right amount of dead skin while not stripping your natural oils. Major ingredients include green tea, papaya extracts, pearl, and rice.  Powder is to be mixed with water which then creates a cushiony lather.

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist $48: hydrating luxurious makeup setting spray that provides moisture. Contains Squalane (olive-provides moisture), rice extracts, thyme, silk extracts, and green tea. Antioxidant filled- this product helps fight free radical attack (they destroy your cells= aging skin).  No buildup or residue= keeper!

Fresh Soy Conditioning Eye Makeup Remover $26: Take care of your eyes! they're the first to age. This rich velvety product removes all traces of makeup including waterproof. Soy proteins and rich amino acids condition the skin around the eye as well as lashes. Contains vitamain C and E (antioxidants! our friends :) ) Did i mention that it contains and smells like cucumber and ginseng? Make sure to use a gentle made for the eyes cotton pad to remove the makeup!

Benefit Cosmetics Dandelion Box o' Powder Blush $15-29.00: A gorgeous pale-pink, pressed blush powder. It comes with a super cute brush that helps to give a perfect application. I've always eyed this product but thought it may be too pale for me. Try it on your face- the color payoff is so beautiful.

Benefit Cosmetics POREfessional face primer $12-31: MY go to!! This can be used before or after makeup application or even without makeup! I use it to hide the appearance of my pores but also fine lines under my eyes and forehead. Try it out by dabbing it on. I like to purchase the travel size and touch up my under eyes with it. This product is oil-free and contains antioxidant vitamin E.

My adorable "Champagne is my spirit animal" bag and coffee mug can be found at Sparkle and Shine Darling in Miami, FL BUT I heard that they will be opening an online shop soon!!

MAKE ME GLOW!

I hate being pale. It doesn't look good on me. As an esthetician I have made it my job to stay clear from tanning beds and extreme amount of sunlight. So what does a girl that wants color do? self tan! There are so many different options out there and I feel that different self tan products work for different skin tones.

Below you will find self tanning products that I have used and I will rate them 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. Enjoy and please feel free to comment and provide me with any recommendations on other self tanners. ENJOY!

1) Million Dollar Tan Mermaid mousse extreme (body/face) - $32

Rating: 4 This self tanner gives a beautiful bronze medium glow. I use one for the face and body. It doesn't clog pores and has anti-aging as well as hydrating benefits.  The tan is very natural and doesn't make the skin look dehydrated.  I would give this product a 5 if the color was darker.

The color lasts for 3-4 days.

Million Dollar Tan Mermaid Extreme

2) St. Tropez Express mousse (mainly for body but can be used on normal-dry face)- $ 44

Rating: 4 I LOVE the color pay off with the express mousse. I also love that I can choose the amount of color that I want. Wait just 1 hour before showering for a light sun kissed glow, 2 hours for a medium golden tan, or leave on for up to 3 hours for a deeper, darker bronze, to suit your skin tone. St. Tropez has more of a brownish-olive tone which is fantastic for me because I'm very pink so it tends to eliminate it. There is no self tan scent and it is *quick drying (1-3 minutes), non sticky, and non steak. My only complaint is that if i choose to use it on my face it does feel a tad bit dehydrated. I've tried the face self tanner by them but the color pay off was not as good as the express or dark.

The color lasts for 2-3 days

3) tarte Brazilliance™ Skin Rejuvenating Maracuja Face And Body Self Tanner- $39

Rating: 3Tarte uses their Maracuja oil in this self tanner to help brighten and replenish the skin. It has anti-inflammatory properties in it that protect the skin against free-radical damage. The color pay off is pretty minimal. I'd say it's great for someone who is looking for a warm natural glow and not a medium to deep color. I do like that it doesn't dehydrate my skin and it doesn't seep into fine lines and pores. Some complained about the scent. I'd say it's minimal but you do smell it even after showering. Also, It dries within 5 minutes.

4) Vita Liberata pHenomenal 2-3 Week Tan Mousse & Tanning Mitt Duo (medium)- $54

Rating: 3 1/2 I got this self tanner as a deluxe sample. The color pay off was around light/almost medium. They advertise the color to last 2-3 weeks but mine lasted around 4-6 days. Vita Liberata pHenomenal comes in fair, medium, and dark. The dry time is around 5 minutes. The medium color has a warm bronze glow. I don't think that it's worth $54 and I feel like you could find the same results with a cheaper product.

*All of these products are fantastic but first place goes to St. Tropez for a dark deep tan. Second place goes to Million Dollar Tan. Third place Tarte Brizilliance.
